In celebration of the second New York State Puppet Festival, we’re organizing a regional puppet slam to highlight the puppetry being done throughout Western New York, Finger Lakes and adjacent regions.

We’re inviting puppeteers to spend an evening performing to peers, puppeteers, and the public.

The puppet slam will highlight pieces up to 10 minutes long. All types of puppetry are welcome to apply.

Judging: Show is juried with decisions sent on June 20 via email.

Application Deadline: June 19, 2024

Honorarium: $50 per show

Performance Date: June 26, 2024

Tech Time: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Performance Time: 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
